Current Business Offerings

Precision Machining Company

New England-based precision machine shop with 2022 and 2023 revenue of $5.8M and $6.2M, and adjusted EBITDA of $1.36M, and $1.56M, respectively.  As a result of ongoing prototype work converting to production, additional machinists and two new milling machines, 2024 is expected to see similar growth or higher, as compared to 2023. The business has proven adept at serving customers in a specific high-growth industry and has exceptional, long-term customer relationships.  Industries served include life sciences, defense related work and the aforementioned growth industry.  Marketing underway.


Specialty Products Distributor

Well regarded distributor and installer of specialty materials, located in a coastal community north of Boston.  The business has been a long-term distributor of a well-known product brand but carries other lines as well.  Average revenue over years 2020-2022 was $5.9m, with adjusted EBITDA, after factoring in estimated replacement management expense, of $548k.  2023 was very strong, both with regard to sales and earnings, well in excess of the prior three years.   Sale finalized January 2024.

Precast Concrete Manufacturer

CAG was engaged in early January 2024 to manage a fast-track sale process of a New England precast concrete company that filed for Chapter 11 protection on January 12, 2024.  Working with the client and client's counsel, and under the supervision of the bankruptcy court, the business is continuing to operate, and CAG's goal is to bring about a sale of the business by February 29.  Sale finalized February 2024.

Highly Specialized and Profitable Contractor

CAG has just been engaged to manage the marketing and sale of a specialty contractor with a very unique focus, with contracts throughout the U.S. and with recent expansion into northern Europe.  Revenue has grown significantly to $10.7M in 2023, with adjusted EBITDA of $1.92M.  In addition, the business' backlog is well beyond prior levels and 2024 and 2025 are shaping up to be very strong years.  Marketing underway.

CAG is currently in discussions with several smaller ($5-10M revenue), but profitable, well-established manufacturers located in New England.

Others

CAG is in active discussions with several other promising, New England-based prospective clients, including two that are particularly well established in industries outside of manufacturing and distribution.  Adjusted EBITDA for these businesses is between $1.0M and $2.5M.
